Dear Film Enthusiast;
There have been numerous faith-based movies, but none that have presented the Jewish faith in an entertaining, enlightening way to the public. However, that situation can be changed.
Introducing the feature film, My Big Fat Nana’s Bat Mitzvah.
Greetings! My name is Todd Pliss and, as a filmmaker, my projects have included the feature film, The Art of Trash, as well as the award-winning film, Execution at County Jail (available on YouTube.com).
The screenplay has garnered praise. The prestigious Slamdance Screenplay Festival raved:
“The writer has great talent for comedy. I laughed out loud from beginning to end. Great character development. They all jump off the page. Ida and Brooke are perfect and their relationship is incredible. But even smaller characters, such as Ida’s girlfriends or the mechanic, are well crafted.”
My Big Fat Nana’s Bat Mitzvah is poised to become the next big hit in its genre. Visit the Get Involved page to support this unique project or contact me directly with questions.
